Find the full list of everything that is coming to Paramount Plus this July, from classic movies and TV shows to streaming replays of current broadcast TV shows, Paramount Plus originals and live sports.
But first, here are What to Watch's picks for the best of the best of new content on Paramount Plus this month.
Best movie on Paramount Plus in July: Risky Business (July 1)
Tom Cruise remains one of the biggest movie stars in the world and has a brand new movie out on July 12, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One. But before Cruise was jumping off cliffs and saving the world (and the movie theaters, per Steven Spielberg), Risky Business was one of his breakout roles. Cruise plays a teenager who has the house to himself when his parents are out of town, but things quickly get out of hand when he becomes entwined with a sex worker. Almost everyone will know Risky Business from the classic image of Cruise sliding across the floor in a button down, but now you can easily see the rest of the movie around that.
Jack Nicholson is also a big star of the month on Paramount Plus, with several of his best movies including Chinatown, Five Easy Pieces, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Reds and more available (some are only available for those with Paramount Plus with Showtime).
Best TV show on Paramount Plus in July: Special Ops: Lioness (July 23)
Between 1883, 1923, Tulsa King and now Special Ops: Lioness, maybe we should rename Paramount Plus to Taylor Sheridan Plus. The latter is the most recent original series from the prolific TV writer. The series is based on a real CIA program known as Lioness and follows a new recruit and those that work with her and oversee her in the program and government. It stars Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman and sure looks to be an explosive new series.
Some other shows you can watch this month include the Zoey 102 reboot and, exclusively for UK subscribers, NBC's Quantum Leap season 1, a reboot of the '80s TV series that premiered in fall 2022 and was quickly renewed for a second season.
Best live sports on Paramount Plus in June: NWSL games
The 2023 Women's World Cup is set to get underway on July 20. That is not on Paramount Plus, but if you want to get ready for the tournament you can watch the NWSL games that Paramount Plus will be streaming throughout the month, including marquee games featuring Julie Ertz, Megan Rapinoe, Rose Lavelle, Alex Morgan, Ashley Sanchez and Trinity Rodman.
Golf fans will also be able to live stream tournaments every weekend, including the Genesis Scottish Open ahead of the Open Championship.
