 Summer is officially in full swing and Netflix has plenty of new movies and shows to keep you entertained so that you can relax indoors and beat the heat. Speaking of hot, we have our picks for the hottest movies, shows and documentaries coming to the platform below.

 Best movie on Netflix in July: Bird Box Barcelona (July 14)   

Sandra Bullock kicked off the Bird Box global phenomenon in 2018 and now the adventure is crossing the pond to Spain in Bird Box Barcelona, where a man must protect his daughter while navigating threats from all fronts. 

If you’re a fan of Karate Kid, the entire franchise is landing on the platform beginning July 1. The Rush Hour trilogy also hits the streamer July 1.  

Best TV show on Netflix in July: Quarterback (July 12)

Quarterback is a highly anticipated new series that follows three NFL quarterbacks. Not only does the series explore their lives on the field and behind the scenes in the locker room, but fans will get a glimpse of what life is like at home. The series was filmed during the 2022-2023 season and features Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota.  

Best documentary on Netflix in July: WHAM! (July 5)
